Airedale Junior School is a Local Authority controlled mixed junior school and during the 2012/2013 school year there will be around 350 children on roll. The school was built in the 1920's. Our school has 15 classrooms, hall, gymnasium, changing rooms, computer suite, edit suite, life skills room and a library. Outside we have an all weather games pitch, playing field and 2 playgrounds. We have a garden area with a greenhouse and planters for fruit and vegetables. Many improvements to both playgrounds and the interior of the school have recently been undertaken.
